Senator A. A. Yari Urges Zamfara APC Members to Pray for Righteous Leadership During Ramadan

Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar (Marafan Sokoto), representing Zamfara West Senatorial District in the 10th National Assembly, has called on members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State to use the holy month of Ramadan to pray for the country’s leaders, particularly President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. He emphasized the need for righteousness in leadership, urging that divine guidance should shape national decisions and policies to ensure the success of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Senator Yari made this appeal while hosting thousands of APC members from across the 14 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Zamfara State for Ramadan Iftar at his Talata Mafara residence from Saturday, March 1, to Tuesday, March 4, 2025.

Unity, Cohesion, and Prayers for a Better Nigeria

Addressing the gathering, the Marafan Sokoto stressed that unity, cohesiveness, and fervent prayers are what Nigeria needs most at this critical stage of its political journey. He urged citizens to support their leaders through prayers and collective efforts, ensuring a brighter future for generations yet unborn.

“Using the Ramadan period for prayers will go a long way in making Nigeria great,” Senator Yari remarked. “It is our collective responsibility to work towards that greatness.”

Support for President Tinubu’s Administration

While acknowledging President Tinubu’s efforts in tackling key national challenges such as insecurity and economic instability, Senator Yari emphasized that Nigerians must remain committed and supportive. He urged everyone to actively contribute toward steering the country out of its current challenges.

He also thanked APC members for their unwavering support, understanding, and cooperation, encouraging them to do even more to ensure the best possible outcomes for the party and the country.

Preparing for 2027: A Call for Loyalty and Commitment

Senator Yari further advised APC members to remain loyal to the party and uphold its core ideals. He expressed confidence that with unity and determination, the 2027 elections would be a smooth victory for the APC in Zamfara State and Nigeria as a whole.

Empowerment and Appreciation for APC Members

As part of the Ramadan gathering, 150 APC members from each of the 14 Local Government Areas attended the event. Each attendee received ₦100,000 in cash along with a traditional Agbada gown or a Kaftan as a souvenir from Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar.
