Senator Abaribe blasted the President Mohammadu Buhari today during plenary.The Senator who hails from Abia central was arrested by the security operatives on Friday 22 June 2018 at the gate of Hilton by 11.30 a.m in the morning. He was then taken to his house on escort for the search of his residence at where he was formally informed of his reason for arrest. The reason for his arrest was said to be aiding and sponsoring a post crime Organization. You could recall that Abaribe stood for Kanu the pioneer leader of the agitation for Biafra republic, who went into oblivion on bail. Abaribe was taken to the office of the dss in the midnight and kept there for a week. He told the Senate ‘when i was inside the wall the first person that received me was the formal Governor of Benue state, Gov. Suswan’ even while he was released on Tuesday Suswan is still inscarstrated. Abaribe said his release was secured by well meaning Nigerians and the Senate.He said nothing was found on him and still on administrative bail which he have to report on daily basis to the dss office. Abaribe vowed to challenged his ordeal in court but ought to tell every Nigerian where he is going.
