The Nigerian Senate today has adjourned sitting to the 2nd of July, 2019.
Before adjournment the Senate President, Senator Ahmed Lawal announced an ad-hoc committee set up to work with the management of the National Assembly to look into the allocation of sits and arrangement of offices as well’ for the new elected senators.
The ad-hoc committee members announced includes the following Senators: Senator Abubakar kyari Chairman, Senator Aishat Modibo Member,Gabriel Suswan Member, Sabi Abdulahi Aliu Member, Betty Akpiafi Member , Bassey Apana Member, Barau Jibril Member, Ibrahim Goje Member, Nicholas Tofo Member, Solomon Adeola Olamilekan Member, Chukwuka Utazi Member and Stella Odua Member
The ad-hoc committee will work with management of the National Assembly for the house keeping issues of new elected Senators. They are said to resume work immediately and has been given two weeks to complete its assignment.
