The senator representing Adamawa Northern Senatorial District, Ishaku Abbo has showed displeasure to see a 4 years old girl who was hawking at the market.
Senator Abbo , who was on his way to from Mubi to Yola, stopped over in Loko Adamawa state to Commiserate with traders that lost their shops and properties to fire.
The senator said , “I was moved to tears imagining my daughter a hawker at 4. I asked her how much is a bowl of tomatoes and she said N50. I asked how much for the two bowls? She responded “hamsin” meaning 50 in Hausa language. She doesn’t even know that 50×2 = 100. “
Senator Abbo , gift the underage age girl a sum of fifty thousand Naira ( #50,000) and also discussed her scholarship program with her Father.
The sum of two fifty thousand (#250,000) w as provided as support for the traders at the market.
