Rowdy Session, As A High Ranking PDP Senator Decamps To APC

The National Assembly, was on Wednesday, thrown into a rowdy session, as a Senator formerly belonging to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Joshua Lidani, joined the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Lidani’s defection was announced on the floor of the Senate, on Wednesday, by the Senate Leader, Ahmad Lawan (APC, Yobe).
Lidani, a former Deputy Governor of Gombe State, represents Gombe South Senatorial District.
The Senator was elected on the platform of the PDP, in 2015.
He lost his re-election bid to a serving Member of the House of Representatives, Binta Bello, who won the PDP ticket to contest for the Senatorial District
