RIVERS ASSEMBLY TO SCREEN, CONFIRM FOUR NEW COMMISSIONER-NOMINEES. NASSNEWS, Hycienth Ana, Port Harcourt.
The Rivers State House of Assembly has invited four commissioner-nominees for screening and confirmation as members of the Rivers State Executive Council.
The nominees include, Hon. Israel Lebura Ngbuelu Ph.D, former Caretaker Chairman of Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area, Hon. Evans Bapakaye Bipi, Etche local Government area APP Candidate in the just concluded LGA elections, Barr. Otamiri John Ngubo and Barr. Benibo Alabraba.
A statement signed by the Clerk of the Assembly, G. M. Gillis-West Ph.D asked the nominees to appear before the House with 12 sets of their curriculum vitae, originals and photocopies of their credentials.
The statement further states that the screening and confirmation will be conducted by 10:00am, Monday October 7 2024 at the Hallowed Chamber, Rivers State House of Assembly Auditorium, Admin. Block, Rivers State Government House.
