REPS HAVE MANDATED NEMA TO PROVIDE RELIEVE MATERIAL VICTIMS IN KADUNA STATE

Members of the house of reps on Tuesday moved motion on the killings and wanton destruction of lives and properties at kasuma magani kajuru local government and rustling in chikun local government in Kaduna state.
Hon Yakubu Umar Barde who moved the motion said that the people of kasuma magani experienced a crisis on the 25th of February 2018 which was on a Sunday evening that spilled to following morning which is monday.
He further note that the crisis was as a result of change of religious belief by some people in the community which made some irate youth to embark on killings and distribution of properties in that community.
He also appreciated the effort of the governor of Kaduna State mallam Nasiru El Rufi who gave directive to the state emergency management agency (SEMA) to provide relief materials to for the affected community and also deplored security personnel to the affected community and asked that the culprits be arrested.
The house is worried that 30 people have lost their lives as a result of the crisis with millions of naria wasted and families rendered homeless.
The House therefore mandated the National Emergency Management Management Agency (NEMA) to provide relief materials to the affected people as quick as possible.
