The Local Government Election is going now on in rivers state. The director of public affairs Sarah Hope speaking with our reporter, expressed optimism in the performance of inec in the state. Although, the election supposed to start at 9.a.m. but by the time of this report non of the two pooling units we visited at port Harcourt 1 and port Harcourt 2 has started. The observation was defended by the public relation officer, due to differential circulation of material, election might not start at the same but election will definitely hold in all the units, she said.
The inec office in rivers is filled with suppose ad hoc staffs that were probably dropped, probably with the Nigeria factor.
