The Executive Governor of Osun state, Mr Isiaka Oyetola has assured the people of the state that his administration will provide effective health care delivery programs to every parts of the state.
The Governor, represented by the Speaker of the Osun House of Assembly (Rt) Hon Timothy Owoeye at the commissioning of the Alajue Oja primary health centre in Ede south local government Area, gave the assurance during his goodwill message.
He said the day’s event was part of the ongoing health care delivery program of the state government and that the administration have been able to renovate nine General hospitals across the nine federal constituencies in the state and also constructing 322 primary health care centre across the state
As part of the administration’s health revitalization program, Mr Owoeye revealed that the state government has approved the sum of N50 million for acquisition of drugs across the state and also in the vein of revitalizing the health services delivery , the Governor has approved the sum of N227 million for the procurement of consumable items such as vaccines , immunization equipments and others.
The people of Alajue who welcomed in the Speaker in joyous mood promised to support the government and pleaded with the government to facilitate more development to the community
