The speaker of the 7th Assembly in Osun State Rt (Hon ) Timothy Owoeye meet with members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists ( NUJ) osun chapter at the Assembly complex to create a media pally between the administration and journalists. The speaker used the opportunity to seek the support and cooperation of media and in the same veins welcomes constructive criticism
Mr Owoeye said media is a stake holder in the success of the 7th Assembly and he believe the a cordial relationship is crucial for the development of the State of the state
The speaker doing the discussion promised accelerated passage of bills which is the primary assignment of legislators and also promised effective oversight functions in other to keep the executives on their toes
The journalists were led by the state chairman of NUJ Mr Kehinde Ayantunji . The chairman want the 7th Assembly to build on the achievements and cordial relationship of the 6th Assembly.
