President Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, reassured that Nigeria will be more peaceful when will vacate office come 2023.
Buhari, who met with security chiefs and top government officials in Abuja today, said his administration would leave the country safer than when he assumed power in 2015.
Naija News understands that the number one citizen gave the assurance during the Emblem Appeal Launch for the 2023 Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebration held at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa today.
The President also announced a N10 million donation towards the appeal fund.

He called on all Nigerians and corporate organisations to support veterans and families of the fallen heroes whose past sacrifices have kept the country together.
Present at the event is Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; National Assembly President Ahmed Lawan; Ministry heads, and military and other security chiefs, among others.
Naija News understands that the event preceded the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC).
