It is a remarkable step and an improvement process of Committee on Appropriation to invite governmental bodies, agencies and parastatals to present and defend their year budget.
In the budge presentation before the committee on defence, Major General Adeniyi Oyebade, Commandant, Nigeria Defence Academy, NDA appeals for an increase in overhead during the budget defense in National Assembly.
The Commandant lamented the inflating population of cadets in NDA which has put serious pressure on infrastructure, logistics, welfare of staffs and overhead cost to cover the training of cadets, in addition, horse riding has gulp cost for about 200 more horses.
The Commandant requested for review of overhead budget, release of the balance of 2018 and consideration for original emulnument budget.
The Nigeria Defence Academy, NDA presents the sum of #18 billion overall in the 2019 budget proposal.
