Senate Committee on INEC and House Committee on Electoral Matters today held a public hearing on electoral reforms inside National Assembly.
Distinguish Senator Kabiru I.Gaya who is the Chairman Senate Committee on INEC in conjunction with his colleague in the Green Chamber, Hon. Aishatu Jibrin Dukku, Chairman House Committee on Electoral Matters complement the public to the public hearing.

The Joint Public Hearing is focus on the bill for an act to repeal the electoral act no. 6, 2010 As Amended) and enact the independent National electoral Commission Act, 2020, to regulate the conduct of Federal, State and Area Council Elections and for related matters.
The Joint Public Hearing was declared open by the President of the Senate, Senator Ahmed Lawan. While the Speaker House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila unavoidably absent was represented by Hon. Akpatason, deputy leader of the house of Representatives.
