The President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawal said he is not in the Senate Presidency for selfish interest, he said this during the press Corps courtesy call to the topmost leadership of the Senate.

The President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawal said he is not in the Senate Presidency for selfish interest, he said this during the press Corps courtesy call to the topmost leadership of the Senate.
The Chairman of the Press Corps Mr Isreal Tabiowo, who is also the chairman of the Africa Parliament reporters Forum, congratulated the the Senate President for his emergence after the inauguration of the 9th assembly. He took time to express the difficulties being faced by the Senate Press Corps and crave indulgence of the new Senate President to intervene in restoring the freedom of the Press Corps in National Assembly.
The press Corps team later presented a congratulatory card to the Senate President on behalf of the Journalist.
The Senate President later called for a closed dops meeting with the leadership of the Senate Corps.
