The speaker of Osun State House of Assembly Rt (Hon) Timothy has promised the support of the 7th Assembly for the effective delivery of governance at local level .
The Speaker made the charges doing a courtesy visit by the executives of ALGON ( Association of Local Government of Nigeria) Osun State chapter at the state House of Assembly in osun. The chairmen took their turn to congratulate the speaker on his victory
The speaker reminded the ALGON executives of his relationship with local government and assures them of his support . Owoeye said purpose of local government is to bring effective governance to the grassroots but the purpose has been defeated.
The speaker promised to work with ALGON executive with the purpose of straightening all the lapses in local government administration in the state .
