As Osun State mark 28 years of Creation from the old Oyo State under the Administration of President Badamosi Babangida. The Speaker of Osun State House of Assembly , Rt Hon Timothy Owoeye asked honorable members to look back to the 28 years of Creation and how’s it has affected the state and their constituencies
The event took place during the plenary at the state Hallow chamber. Honorable members took their time to discuss the effect of the creation on their various constituencies and narrated how it has helped in bringing development
Honorable members who took their time to talk showers praises to their leaders from the slain leader of the socio – Yoruba cultural group Afenifere and former Governor of old oyo state , Chief bola Ige to the first governor of State Late Senator Isiaka and all other former Governors in the state.
The Lawmakers in the vain of celebration pleads with the people of Osun State to give the current administration of Governor Isiaka Oyetola time to settle down and assures the people of better days.
The speaker , Rt Hon Timothy Owoeye in his closing remark said the creation opened Osun State to better opportunity and development, Mr Owoeye further said he could only imagine the distance from capital of Oyo state, Ibandan to communities like Owena, Ila-orangun and even Ejigbo and creation of Osun State has been able to bring development to the rural areas
