The present sets of the members of kano state house of assembly will work selflessly in order to promotes Nigerian democracy because all the lawmakers are ready to serve as a team despite party differences.
This was disclosed by the chieftains of both the ruling partyAPC, and the opposition party PDP, in a series of interviews with our kano house of assembly correspondent, where they assured that kano house of assembly consists very prominent grassroots politicians, that really knows the problems of their people even before they were elected as honourable members.
Alhaji Usman Dangwari, an APC stalwart in kano told Nigerian Assembly News that the Kano’s 9th assembly has a combination of resourceful persons that are always ready to serve the people in a democratic dispensation, where he added that” the present set of members that make kano assembly from both PDP and APC are experienced lawmakers that are working collectively to fulfill their electoral promises, and contribute towards the progress of kano state as legislators”. He emphasized.
Furthermore, Malam Abdullahi Maigata, a people’s democratic party chieftain stressed that all honourable members that were elected on PDP platform are very active in discharging their constitutional mandate because according to him, when in a pelinery sessions, every lawmaker is struggling to see that his people are really benefiting from some projects that are important in their constituencies which is an exemplary representation.
All those who talk to our correspondent about the kano 9th assembly prayed that the lawmakers would continue to work as a team, and assured that kano people will continue to supports the present administration and the state parliament for the development of the state as seen since the inauguration of the 9th assembly.
