Senator representing Abia North, Orhi Uzo Kalu during the ministerial nominees screening expressed the insecurity of the country as one of the biggest problems facing the country.
Kalu made this statement when he asked the ministerial nominee, Sabo Nanono what difference he will make as a major General to tackle issue, on Wednesday 25 July, at the National Assembly, Abuja.
He explained that the state of the country concerning insecurity needs serious attention from the federal government.
“in security is one of the biggest problems we face in Nigeria, as a former General, what will you do differently as minister of defense to tackle insecurity in the country”.
Nanono expressed his concern as a Nigeria to the insecurity problem, adding that he will take note of the laws of the service in order to tackle the conflict between the service chief and insecurity issues at large.
