House of Representatives Reschedules Plenary Resumption to Tuesday, February 4, 2025

Abuja, FCT | Friday, January 24, 2025 – The House of Representatives has rescheduled its plenary resumption, originally set for Tuesday, January 28, 2025. The new resumption date is now Tuesday, February 4, 2025.

This decision was conveyed to Honourable Members through an internal memorandum issued by the Clerk of the House of Representatives, Dr. Yahaya Danzaria, Esq., acting on the directive of the House Leadership.

The postponement allows Committees additional time to conclude ongoing budget engagements and defense sessions with Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs). This adjustment underscores the House’s commitment to a thorough and comprehensive approach to legislative responsibilities.

The House reaffirms its dedication to serving the Nigerian people and appreciates the understanding and cooperation of all stakeholders during this period.
