HON. VICTOR OBUZOR OPENS AHOADA-WEST/OGBA-EGBEMA-NDONI FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY OFFICE
Urge Constituents to visit for inquiries, petitions, and assistance.
The Member representing Ahoada-West/Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni Federal Constituency; Hon. (Engr.) Victor Obuzor, MNSE, DSSRS, has officially opened a Constituency Liaison Office in Omoku, ONELGA, Rivers State, on the 5th of September 2024.
The office, which is strategically situated to serve residents of the Constituency more effectively, will act as a direct channel for Constituents to communicate their needs, grievances, and ideas to the Rep. Member.
The office is located at No.42 Obrikom Road, Omoku, ONELGA, Rivers State and will be open from 9am – 4pm on weekdays.
Speaking at the official opening ceremony, Hon. Obuzor reiterated his commitment to ensuring that the voices of his Constituents are heard at the National level.
“This Constituency Office is to strengthen ties with Constituents and improve service delivery. It will serve as an open door for everyone to express their concerns, seek support, and offer suggestions on how we can improve our Constituency. My goal is to bring the Government closer to the People and make sure that development reaches every part of this Constituency,” he stated.
Hon. Victor Obuzor also urged Constituents to visit the office for inquiries, petitions and assistance, while noting his empowerment programs, said he is ready to do more with the effect of the new office.
“This office has a direct link to the office in Abuja. Once you drop any information here, it will be addressed. We have sponsored so many bills, done a lot of training that empowered over 500 persons from Ahoada-West/Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni; from ICT to Fish Farming up to 3 phases, Barbing, Catering, Make-up, Fashion Design, Mechatronics, etc, where Starter Packs and Cash Grants were given.”
“There are still a lot of programs coming up, including Medical Outreach for our people, Yam/Cassava Empowerment for Farmers and Fertilizer Distribution amongst others, Please come and drop your details in the Constituency office,” He added.
In Goodwill Messages, The Constituents commended the initiative, said Hon. Victor Obuzor has shown he is a man of his word, and the office will bridge the gap between the government and the people.
The event had in attendance, the Executive Chairman of Ahoada-West LGA; Hon. (Evang) Hope O. Ikiriko, FCNA, Ph.D, Hon. Nkemjika Ezekwe; Rivers State House of Assembly Member representing ONELGA Constituency 2, Hon. Ikechukwu Obuzor; PDP Chairman, Ahoada-West LGA, Hon. Kenneth Nwabochi; PDP Chairman, ONELGA, several Community Leaders, Political Stakeholders, Traditional Rulers and youth leaders.
