Member Representing Ahoada-West/Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Victor Obuzor has carried out a constituency training of over thirty farmers in his constituency with the agenda for self sufficiency and job creation.
Speaking through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, ThankGod Dimkpa, Hon. Obuzor said his decision to sponsor the training was born out of his visionary representation and people oriented lifestyle stating that he is more concerned about the welfare and wellbeing of his constituents irrespective of social, political or religious affiliations.
The training Facilitator, Mr. Apatam Obokubom narrated that the need to diversify the economy and create self sufficiency prompted the training on how to grow agricultural crops for quicker harvest and food sufficiency. He advised beneficiaries to take the training serious and properly utilize all things taught and packs given to them.
Hon. Victor Obuzor’s constituents expressed deep appreciation to him after the programme describing it as laudable. Speaking on behalf of all beneficiaries, Mrs. Dick Olubunmi from John-Krama Community in appreciation promised to make good use of the training for societal benefits while Mr. Wisdom Ogbogu from ONELGA highlighted further benefits to include the zeal and quest to go fully into Agriculture for self and societal profitability.
High point of the event which had its theme as CAPACITY BUILDING ON GREENHOUSE/HHYDROPONIC FARMING FOR FARMERS IN AHOADA-WEST/OGBA-EGBEMA-NDONI FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY, RIVERS STATE was the presentation of certificates, financial grants of N50,000.00 each and starter packs to the participants.
