Ganduje Gets Backing of Ex-Senate President, North Central APC Elders

Senator Ameh Ebute, former President of the Senate and chairman of the North Central APC Elders Forum, has endorsed Abdullahi Ganduje to continue as APC national chairman. This endorsement comes after the North Central Governors’ Forum, led by Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule, also expressed their support for Ganduje.
In a statement, Ebute praised Governor Sule for his efforts in restoring peace to APC states in the region. He commended Sule’s recent visit to the APC headquarters to discuss the interests of the North Central geopolitical zone with Ganduje. Ebute also thanked President Bola Tinubu and Ganduje for resolving the political crisis in Benue APC.
The North Central elders urged Ganduje to include their zone in the leadership of the party’s institute, which is set to be unveiled soon. They encouraged all APC governors in the region to visit the National Chairman to strengthen their relationship with the leadership.
Ganduje has faced challenges and legal battles in the past six months, particularly from APC stakeholders in the North Central. However, the party has assured that there will be no change of leadership at the APC secretariat.
