EXPULSED INSPECTOR FIDELIS UTI OF ULOGWE-ISUMPE APPLAUDS RT. HON. NNAMDI EZECHI, MHR FOR PUSHING FOR HIS REINSTATEMENT.*

In today’s session of the House of Representatives Committee on Public Petitions, Inspector Fidelis Uti’s petition against the Inspector General of Police was deliberated. Inspector Uti and the Inspector General of Police, represented, and Honourable Members of the Committee deliberated according to the law, the alleged victimization, false accusations, and unjust dismissal of Inspector Uti from Ulogwe-Isumpe, Utagba-Uno in Ndokwa West LGA of Delta State.

 

Originally presented by Rt. Hon. Nnamdi Ezechi on the 7th of November 2023, the petition led to today’s hearing on 13th February, 2024. Following a thorough examination, the Committee, chaired by Rt. Hon. Michael Etaba, ruled in favour of Inspector Fidelis Uti, ordering his immediate reinstatement and payment of all salary arrears dating back to his dismissal in April 2022.

 

Inspector Fidelis Uti expressed profound gratitude to Hon. Nnamdi Ezechi for championing his cause in the House of Representatives, leading to his eventual reinstatement.
