The Clerk of the National Assembly, Barr. Kamoru Ogunlana, has reaffirmed his commitment to fostering a knowledge-based and result-oriented leadership.
He made this statement while receiving a delegation of Ph.D. students from the Department of Public Administration, Nasarawa State University, Keffi, who were on a study visit to the National Assembly.
Barr. Ogunlana emphasized that his leadership is not only focused on achieving results but also on ensuring that the processes and procedures leading to those results are sound and effective. He encouraged the group to conduct research that would contribute to strengthening public administration and enhancing service delivery to citizens.
In their vote of thanks, the spokesman of the group, Hon. Raphael Igbokwe, expressed gratitude to the Clerk for the opportunity to engage with the National Assembly. He also conveyed the Department’s appreciation for the prompt response to their request, noting that it reflects the efficiency of the administrative processes within the National Assembly’s bureaucracy.
He concluded by stating that the engagement had been insightful and enriching for all participants.
