BREAKING: Unknown gunmen kill APC chieftain in Rivers

Unknown gunmen have killed an All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Rivers state.
The party chieftain, Momwon Omowo Etete is a former local government chairman in Andoni local government area of the state.
An associate of the late APC chieftain in the area told one of our correspondent in Port Harcourt on phone that Etete was killed by suspected militants in the area and his body had been taken away.
“As I speak to you we are hiding in the bush for fear of the unknown,” he said in a shaky voice.
National Assembly news gathered that the military has been deployed to the area.
