BREAKING: SENATE SCREENS CBN NOMINEES

The Senate Committee for the screening and confirmation of nominees to the Central Bank of Nigeria held it screening at the Senate building of the National Assembly today.
The nominees were ushered in by the senior special assistant to the President on National Assembly matters Senate Senator Ita Enang. In his remarks after the screening, he expressed satisfaction on the high quality of nominees sent by Mr President. Among the nominees are two Deputy Governor nominees Aishat Ahmad and Edward Adamu. Others are Dr Aliyu Sanusi Rafindadi, Dr Robert Asogwa, Prof. Adeola Adenikinju and Dr. Asheik Maidugu for Members of the Monetary Policy Committee of the Central Bank. The Chairman of the committee is Senator Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim.
