Osun Speaker joins students of Osun State college of health technology to celebrate SUG week

The Speaker of the State of Osun House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye joined the students, lecturers and staff of the State of Osun College of Health Technology, Ilesa as they round up the celebration of their Student’s Union Week which is an annual event organized by the Student Union Government to celebrate.

At the occassion, Mr Timothy Owoeye was presented with an award of Outstanding Excellence in appreciation of years of dedication and committed legislative services.

Speaking after receiving the award, the Speaker disclosed that he has discussed with the SUG President about the ongoing project of the SUG and promised to assist on its completion. Mr Timothy also promised to provide scholarship to outstanding student in each department of the college.

The Speaker assured the school authority that he will use his position to make sure that the college is autonomous to have its own Governing Board. The provost of the School, Dr F.M Olaoye thanked the Speaker for the kind gesture.
