Senator Melaye seeks alternative measure for crude oil production

Senator representing kogi west,Dino Melaye describing the state of crude oil in Nigeria as the greatest corrupt sector has demanded for a better alternative for crude oil production.
Melaye made this statement on Monday 29th July,at the National Assembly, Abuja, during the screening of the ministerial nominee Goddy Jedy Agba from Cross River.
He explained that the production of crude oil in Nigeria is in a bad state, adding that the greatest Nigeria corruption is in the oil sector.
Melaye asked the ministerial nominee, Agba how he will use technology to determine and give Nigeria alternative option on crude oil production.
“what is our crude oil production like, the greatest Nigeria corruption is in the oil sector and how will you use technology to determine and give us alternative option in oil production”.
In response to this question, Agba explained that there is no technology but if adequate step is taken, technology can be made available.
He therefore suggested that Nigeria should go for raw materials to enable them reach the standard they want in crude oil production.
