Kano Assembly Received 4 Commissionership Nominees And 1For State’s Auditor-General.

The kano state house of assembly has received the names of 4 commissionership nominees for screening and comfirmation as members of the state’s executive council, with 1 position for the office of the state’s auditor-general from governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
Those to be appointed as commissiners include Engineer Yahaya Bala Karaye , Alhaji Muktar Ishaq Yakasai, Alhaji Shehu Kura and Dr. Muhammad Tahir Adamu, while Hajiya Amina Inuwa Said as the state’s Auditor-general respectively.
Honorable Kabiru Alasan Rurum, the speaker of the state’s house of assembly, also announced that the house has ordered the nominees to appear to the house for screening and confirmation today 2nd January 2019 including the nominated auditor-general.
Similarly, the house according also received another letter from the kano governor through his deputy Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna seeking permission to establish a college of health, science and technology as well as to repeal the state’s public health edit of 1984 as contained in the letter.
In another development, the house ordered it’s appropriation committee to correct the adopted bill which is expected to be passed next week for the speedy implementation of the 2019 budget so as to maintain the enjoyed institutional co-operation between the executive and the legislative arms in kano state as usual.
