Benue Assembly, today at Plenary has directed the Chairman of Benue SUBEB, Dr. Adagba Grace to conduct the aptitude test for applicants seeking employment into the board at the various local government areas of the state.
The Assembly cited that bringing all applicants to Makurdi, irrespective of their local government would put excess burden on the applicants. On the idea of CBT, the Assembly stated that some qualified individuals would be denied the opportunity for lack of skills to handle a computer set.
Recall that earlier, the Board had made a publication calling on all applicants to converge at Makurdi, the state capital for a CBT.
The test, according to the directive of the Assembly, shall now hold at the various local governments and no longer at the state capital. Also, there shall be no CBT but a manual evaluation of the applicants’ intellectuals.
