Former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, has emerged winner of the Labour Party’s presidential primary election held on Monday 30th May 2022 in Delta State.
Peter Obi who initially declared his intentions under the umbrella of the People’s Democratic Party before exiting the party to join and campaign under the banner of the Labour Party has successfully become the presidential Flagbearer of the party with the support of other opponents who willingly stepped down.
The other presidential aspirants were: Prof. Pat Utomi, Mrs Olubusola Emmanuel – Tella and Faduri Joseph.
